This Local Times OKC site has no accounts, no forms and no advertising scripts, and sets no cookies. The ZIP and town search runs in your browser and sends nothing to us. Our phone lines and visit counts are described below.

Phone lines

The phone numbers on this site ring a phone that we answer ourselves, and we may press a key to screen the call first. If we answer, the call is recorded from the moment we pick up. If nobody answers, you can leave a voicemail, which is also recorded. Our phone provider, Twilio, stores the audio. We delete our call recordings about 90 days after the call. Twilio also keeps its own basic call records (numbers, times and length) under its own policy.

Every call to these numbers starts with a short spoken notice that the call may be recorded. If you would rather not be recorded, please email us instead of calling.

When a call is missed, our phone system emails us an alert with the caller's number, the time, which line was called and whether a voicemail was left. If there is a voicemail, the alert includes an automatic text transcript, which may contain errors. The transcript is made by Cloudflare Workers AI, an automated service, not by a person. The same service adds a guess at which trade the caller needs, only to help us sort calls. It never blocks, reroutes or changes how a call is handled, and callers hear nothing different. The alert is sent through Cloudflare's email service to a Gmail inbox we use. It does not contain the audio.

Our phone system keeps a log of each call to these numbers: the caller's number, the time, the line, whether we answered, and any voicemail transcript and trade guess. A caller's name and what they need are in the log only if they say them in a voicemail. The log is deleted automatically two years after the call. Missed-call alert emails stay in our email account until we delete them.

We use these details to call you back and, if you ask for help with a trade, to pass your name and number to one local business that takes our referrals. It may pay us for referrals. We do not sell your details and do not give them to any other business. Twilio, Cloudflare and Google handle them only to run the phone line, the email and the storage described here.

To ask for a recording or your call details to be deleted, or to ask what we hold, email support@localtimesokc.media with the number you called from and roughly when you called. We will reply to confirm.

We do not use an AI assistant to answer calls today. If we start, we will update this page before it starts.

Hosting and visit counts

The site is served by Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It works without cookies and does not track individual visitors: Cloudflare says it uses no cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors. It records page views, the referring site, country, browser, device type and page speed, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We have switched off our own request logging for this site. Cloudflare still keeps standard network logs and traffic statistics under its privacy policy.

Changes

This page is updated before the site starts collecting anything new, such as a contact or correction form, a chat assistant or an AI phone assistant.
