Get your business listed on Local Times OKC
Listing a business that serves the Oklahoma City metro on Local Times OKC is free, and no business can pay to be listed or to move up a list. Send us your business name, website and phone through our contact page, and we check it the same way we check every listing.
To add, fix or claim a listing: use the contact page. Tell us the business name, its website or business page, its phone number, and what to add or change.
There is no sign-up and no account to create. A claim and correction form may come later; the contact page says how to reach us today.
What a listing costs: nothing
- Listings are free.
- No business can pay to appear higher. Lists put businesses with more kinds of checked facts first, then A to Z (why lists are in the order they are).
- We do not sell featured spots, badges or "premium" listings.
- Every business website link carries the same nofollow label, for every business.
Which businesses we list
- Real businesses that serve the Oklahoma City metro.
- A new listing needs its own working website or business page, plus at least one more public record.
- We do not list other directories, or lead networks posing as local companies.
The full rules are on How we list and check businesses.
How we check your business
We check facts from public sources and show the date next to each one: that your website works and names your business, the towns you say you serve, and, for licensed trades, your state license in the official lookup. Anything we have not checked yet is marked “Not checked yet”. We never copy star ratings or reviews from Google, Yelp or BBB. The table of checks says how long each one counts before we check again.
Already listed? Fix or claim your listing
Many listings carried over from the old Local Times OKC site still show older phone numbers or towns marked “Not checked yet”. If yours is wrong, send the correction through the contact page with a link to where the right information appears on your own website, and we update the listing after checking it.
Want more calls? Talk to us about referrals
Local Times OKC runs phone lines for trades like plumbing, electrical, and heating and air. When someone calls a line, we connect them with one local business we work with, and that business may pay us for the referral. We plan to work with one business per trade in each service area. Terms depend on the trade and how busy the area is, and there are no contracts. If you would like to be that business, say so on the contact page.
Taking referrals never changes where you appear on a list; the order rules above apply to every business.
Looking for help with your own website or search visibility? That is OKC SEO, our sister company: Local Times OKC and OKC SEO share an owner. OKC SEO is shown apart from the ordered list on the digital marketing agencies page, and working with it never changes where any business appears.
Coming later: an optional chat assistant on your listing
Later, businesses will be able to add an optional chat assistant to their own listing page for a monthly fee, so visitors can ask questions and leave their details. It is not available yet. It will not move a business up any list.
